Robert Fairbairn [1]

Baptized Sept 16th 1733 Oldcambus, Berwickshire, Scotland

entry shows parents as John Fairbairn Helen Grieve
Witnesses: Ro: Grieve John Swanston [2]

This WikiTree family originally showed two sons named Robert, one b. 1716 d. 1800 and the other b. 1733 d. 1810) both citing ancestry family trees.
As it seems unlikely two overlapping Roberts truly existed in the family, and the younger one is definitely documented in the family by a baptism to John & Helen, they have been merged with the data for the latter Robert

Fairbairn-840 and Fairbairn-832 appear to represent the same person because: Hi Jodie,

As per comment on profile of Fairbairn-832 we actually want to end up with the details as per Fairbairn-840 as the final version but need to merge to the lower number (wikiTree policy). Let me know when you've actioned the merge and I'll tidy up the bio

as per comments for "brother" John b. 1714, this Robert b. 1716 d. 1800 makes two Roberts in the family, where the second (which you have as 1733-1810) is definitely documented as baptized to John & Helen at Cockburnspath.

Unless you have any better ideas, what say we merge this one with the younger version?
