He was born in Walnut, Montgomery, Iowa.
He had as siblings: Albert (half-brother), Waldo, Arthur, James and Georgie.
He married Daisy Melissa Graves in April 30, 1907 in Independence, Missouri. They had a son, Milo Myron Fairchild.
He died on Sept. 29, 1951 in Colorado City, Mitchell County, Texas. He was 69 years old and had suffered an Embolism/Rt. femoral artery with cardiac decompensation (for 2 years.) He had been residing in Ira, Scurry, Texas at the time of his passing.
He was buried in Colorado City Cemetery, Mitchell County, Texas.
During his lifetime he had been a farmer, and then an Oil Operator/Drilling.
