Sarah is believed to have been born in Ipswich of the Massachusetts Bay Colony around 1639 but this has not been confirmed. Her parents are currently unknown. She was the widow of Joseph Whipple.
She married Joseph Whipple on July 18th, 1676, just two days after the death of his previous wife who was also named Sarah [1][2]. They had several children together including:
