He was born on May 5, 1934 in Sampson County to the late John Henry and Ella Mae Hall Faircloth. He worked as an Electrician.

He is survived by his sister, Ora Lee Moore of Fayetteville; special friend, Inez Hall of Autryville; daughter, Diane Jackson and husband Ricky of Roseboro; sons, Jackie Faircloth and wife Alice of Autryville, and Frankie Faircloth of Autryville; grandchildren, Frankie Faircloth, Harley Faircloth, Brandi Faircloth, Mandi Carter, and Jamie Tew; eight great grandchildren; and step grandchild, Ricky Jackson, Jr.^[1]
