Biography

James Fairclough was a blacksmith of Windle, St Helens, Lancashire, England, born around 1777 in Windle and died before 1837, when his wife Ellen remarried.

He was baptised in about 1777 in St Mary the Virgin, Prescot, St Helens, Lancashire. He was the son of John Fairclough and Margaret Leyland.[1]
