We share Hannah Applebee as a common ancestor. And the relationship finder is accurate then we are fourth cousins once removed.
Cheers, marco frucht
I'm just checking in with you as I haven't heard back from the reply to your join post answer for the Italy Project. https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1447403 If you can send me a private message: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Ferraiolo-2#PM-16396233-0 I can finish getting you added to the project, including awarding the Italy Project badge Thanks in advance!
Well, I don't think I'm related to John the Chicago gangster Dillinger he spelled it differently. But yes, I think the Halsnode lineage can be traced back to Charlemagne. Isn't that amazing! It gives me a whole different perspective on history.

The relationship finder says James Denne, your 10th gr-grandfather, is my 9th gr-grandfather, so we are 10th cousins once removed.
I see from your biography that you have been doing great work on the Falcone side of your tree - how wonderful to be able to go to Italy and see where your grandfather was born!!
I have been using the New England Historic and Genealogical Society website for research on our Denne and Halsnode ancestors, and found great sources there. I will be proposing some merges in the near future where we both made profiles of the same person, and just thought to introduce myself first.
I will add sources as I go, and some comments if it looks complicated. Looking forward to good collaboration,
April Dauenhauer
Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.
The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'.
Thank you for helping us grow our global family tree!

Let me see if I can get a GEDCOM expert to help you with this. It can be confusing if you have never done it before.

You can also add all of the information again one profile at a time if you wish.
Yes it is. Please read about GEDCOMs. That explains how that is done.
