Mary Ann Falls was born in Goulbourn Township in 1878. She was the daughter of John Falls and Margaret Healey. She married Fred K. Mooney.

Mary Ann Mooney (nee Falls) passed away in Carleton Lodge, on Monday, September 30, 1968, age 90 years, widow of Fred K. Mooney; dear mother of Garnet N., Toronto; Allan L., Carp; Mrs. John Goodfellow (Florence), Vars; also survived by 2 grandchildren; sister of Mrs. Wesley Hewitt (Jennie), Ottawa. Resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home, Carp. Service in St. Paul's United Church, Wednesday. Interment Presbyterian Cemetery, Third Line, of Huntley.^[1][2]
