He was born about 1800 in Russell County, Virginia, USA and his parents were Keziah (Burton) and John D. Fannin, Sr (b: 30 July 1779, d: 25 June 1853).
By 1822 David Fannin had first married to Julia Jordan.
By 1865 David Fannin had married secondly to Sarah A. Kitchen.
He died about 1878 in Kentucky, USA.
