Biography

Joseph Fanning was born in 1795, in Wythe county, Virginia, a son of Joseph Fanning and Barbara Davis. Joseph married Mary Polly Brown 1797–1860 and passed away in May, 1872 (aged 76–77) in Morgan county, Illinois and is buried in the Providence Cemetery, Franklin, Morgan Co., Illinois. [1]
