Biography

Katherine Fanshawe was the daughter of Thomas Fanshawe and his second wife Joan, daughter of Thomas (Customer) Smythe.^[1][2]

Katherine was a beneficiary of the will of her grandmother Alice (Judde) Smythe, the will made on 10 Jul 1592.^[3]

She was a beneficiary of the will of her father Thomas Fanshawe esq., Remembrancer of the Queens Court of the Exchequer, the will proved in 1601.^[4]

She married John Bullock of Darley, Derbyshire.^[5][6]

Katherine Fanshawe, maiden, 18, daughter of Thomas Fanshawe of Christ Church London Esq (decd) married John Bullocke Esq of Inner Temple, Bachelor, 30, by Licence dated 16 Jun 1608. She was married with the consent of her mother Mrs Joane Fanshawe & her brother Mr Thomas Fanshawe Esq; at Barking, Essex where sd mother of sd Katherine liveth.^[7] The marriage took place on 30 Jun 1608 at Barking.^[2][8]
