Biography
When Martha Catherine Fant was born on February 9, 1830, in South Carolina, her father, Abner Fant, was 54, and her mother, Martha Harris, was 29. She had three brothers and three sisters. She died on March 29, 1900, at the age of 70, and was buried in Anderson, South Carolina.
