Death Age 22 in Orange Hospital in 1915 [2][3][4][5][6][7]
She passed away in 1915 aged 23, after hospitalisation from typhoid fever. Six months previously her brother Matthew died of the same cause.
We regret to report the serious illness of Miss Ellen Fardy, who is at present in Orange. Word was received on Saturday night by her brother, Mr. M. Fardy, that her condition was very serious. On inquiry to-day we found there was little improvement, and the complaint is thought to be typhoid fever."
