Military Service Migrated with his father to Blackwater; then to New River where he was at the outbreak of the Revolution. He was one of the veterans of Point Pleasant. He retired to the region of the Big Spring with his family prior to the war, but afterward returned to his prior holdings in the current Monroe county.
