Caleb Farley was born at Woburn, Massachusetts on April 1, 1645, son of George and Christian (Births) Farley. [1][2]
He lived at various times in Woburn, Billerica and Roxbury. [2]
Caleb married first, Rebecca Hill at Billerica, Massachusetts on July 5, 1666. [3] Rebecca was born likely at Woburn, about 1646, daughter of Ralph Jr. and Mrs. Margaret (___/Toothaker) Hill. [2]
Her father Ralph Hill wrote his will on November 18, 1662 and left a bequest of L30 to daughter Rebecca at the time of her marriage. [2]
His wife Rebecca died on March 29, 1669 at Billerica. [3]
He married second, in November, 1669, Lydia Moore at Billerica. [3] Lydia was the daughter of Golden and Mrs Joan (__/Champney) Moore. [2]
His father-in-law Golden Moore deeded Caleb 100 acres on 'Recompense Plain' and a meadow at Prospect Hill on April 30, 1673. [2]
On May 20, 1679, he exchanged 50 acres at Woburn for lands in Billerica. [2]
Caleb died at Roxbury, Massachusetts on March 16, 1711/12. [4][2]
Caleb Farley Sr., farmer of Roxbury, wrote his will on January 3, 1710. His sons Joseph and Ebenezer submitted it to the court on April 12, 1712/3. In it he left bequests to: [5]

several parcels remaining, after daughter Hannah's decease - to the Frost children of my daughter Rebecca, the children of Lydia Shedd, the children of Ebenezer Farley and the children of George Farley
my sons Joseph and Enoch Farley to be my sole executors [5]
An undated codicil indicates that Caleb had previously deeded lands to the eldest sons Caleb Jr. and Joseph. [2]
His widow Lydia died on Roxbury on November 19, 1715. [4]
On September 4, 1716, George Farley, son of widow Lydia Farley of Newton petitioned for administration of his mother's estate. The court granted administration to daughter Hannah Lee on September 10, her husband Thomas Lee posting bond. [6]
The sons Ebenezer, Timothy, Joseph, Benjamin and George Farley acknowledged agreement with the estate distribution which included:
all moveables to Hannah Lee, except furniture that had been designated to grand daughter Lydia Shed, and L4 promised to son Benjamin Farley
