Biography

William Farlow was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)

William was born on 28 February 1809 at Wilberforce, New South Wales, Australia and Christened on 6 October 1811 at St Matthew's Church of England, Windsor, New South Wales.^{[1][2][3] [4][2]}

In 1827 he fathered Thomas Farlow to 13-year-old Ann Sibrey (1813 - 1867). William and Ann do not appear to have married and she went on to marry William Reynolds (1804 - 1878) in 1833 before moving to the southern highlands of New South Wales around Gunning.

In the 1828 Census he is recorded as being resident at Wilberforce New South Wales.

In 1829 he married Mary Howell.^[5] They had at least three children together before Mary died in 1842.

In 1843 William married Ellen Markwell.^[6] William and Ellen had 12 children together.

William died on 6 Dec 1864.^{[3][7][8][9][10]}. He was buried at Richmond.^[11]
