Henrietta Farmer was born on January 11, 1884[1] in Tennessee[2] to Andrew Farmer and Nancy Heath.
On August 20, 1907, Etta married Benjamin McClain in Dunklin County, Missouri.[3]
Benjamin died in 1910.
On August 31, 1914, Etta married John Shipley in Dunklin County, Missouri.[4]
According to the 1920 census, Etta lived with John and Etta's children, John and Florence, and John's children, Homer and Paul, and their children, Emma and Sadie in Dunklin County, Missouri.[2]
Etta died on February 16, 1924. She is buried in the Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery in Quitman, Arkansas.[1]
