Biography

Charles was born in 1864, the son of Roswell Farnham and Mary Johnson.[1]

  • Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, University of Vermont, June 1886.
  • Graduated from Columbia University in 1889, Bachelor of Laws.
  • Associated with firm of Millan, Gluck and Pooley until Nov 1890
  • Practiced by himself from 1899.
  • 1922 appointed to the Committee of Character and Fitness by the Appleton Division of the Supreme Court. Reviewed applications for admission to the Bar.
  • Member of the Erie County and New York state Bar associations
  • Deacon and Trustee in the Congregational Church
  • Was a Mason (Hiram Lodge, #105)[2]

Charles passed away in 1937, following a car accident. [3]
