Per my research Edith M. Farnham was born 7-8-1890. She is my my great grand aunt. She is listed on the 1900 census living with her parents. On the census for 1910, 1920, 1930 and 1940 she is listed on the records at different institutions in Maine for the "feeble-minded". I searched each census for her family and she is not listed with them. Records listed on each census indicate she had never been to school and could not read or write. She is listed as doing simple work like laundry, sewing, etc. The 1950 census is not available until 2022 to check farther.
