David Farnsworth was the third child and second son of David Farnsworth and Martha Farnsworth. He was born in 1839 and christened on 24 Nov 1839 at Saint Bartholomew, Wednesbury, Staffordshire, England.[1]
David, 1, emigrated to Australia with his parents and sister departing London in August, 1840 on the "Orient".[2] The "Orient" arrived in Melbourne on 13th of December, 1840, and went on to arrive in Sydney on 16 January, 1841.
He married Elizabeth Dodd in 1866 in Victoria, Australia.[3] Their children were:
David died in 1 February 1912 in Avoca, Victoria.
