Biography
Solomon Farnsworth Sr. and Mary Chute are Solomon's parents. He was a farmer and Deacon of his church and did both occupations with pride of doing the work well with his Savior. Dea. Solomon was twice married and had children by both spouces:
1st wife was Annie B. Cummings,daughter of John Cummings,-1815-29 Jul 1843 whom he married on 19 Nov 1833 in Granville,Annapolis Co. and were blessed with four children:
1. James Edward Farnsworth-4 Oct 1836-2 Mar 1913-Elsie (Condon) Woodworth
2. Solomon Farnsworth-11 Nov 1837-18 Aug 1889
3. William Reed Farnsworth-21 Oct 1838-1920-Prudnce Hardy
4. Naomi Farnsworth-30 Nov 1840-25 Mar 1870-Jacob Hardy/Stephen Blaney
After Annie's death in 1843 Solomon married second wife,Phebe Bogart-10 Nov 1820-10 Aug 1895-married on 29 Feb 1844 and they too were blessed with ten children:
