Mary was born to Joseph & Sarah Farnsworth about 1823 in Milford, Derbyshire and she married Charles son of Christopher Cocker on the 14th August 1848 at St Peter's church in Derby and in 1851 they are living with her parents at Hill Street, St Peters, Derby and she was at the age of 28 working as a "Net Worker"
