Death
Died 22 Jan 1944 at the Drury Nursing Home, Jamaica, Queens, NY (or 25 Jan 1944 in Queens, New York. [30] Buried in Earlville, NY with his unnamed daughter and his wife, Alma, at the Earlville Cemetery. [31]
Research Notes
A. In the records pertaining to the divorce, Carrie also sued Lewis for Desertion, but was persuaded to let the matter drop. This was all about the time Lewis Farr moved to Messina, New York. It is possible that Carrie didn't want to move with him, forcing the split. As you can see from his various residences, he liked to move around. -- rsl - 2/2020.
