Biography
Herbert was born in 1855 and was baptised on 14 March 1855 in Swinton, Lancaster, England.[1][2]
In the 1871 census Herbert F Farr (age 16), scholar, was the son of Charles John Farr in Swinton, Lancashire, England.[3]
He married Elizabeth Hoffmann in 1884 in Sydney, New South Wales[4] and they had 5 children.
He passed away in Glebe in 1896 and is buried at the Rookwood General Cemetery, Rookwood, New south Wales.[5]
