Research Notes
A. Lewis probably married Nancy Fulton prior to 1869, when his first child was born. There appears to be a spouse listed on the 1870 census and the handwriting of the enumerator is such that her name is Nancy or Mary. [4] This persons age is given as 23 years, would would match up with the age given on Find A Grave. The Census of 1875 gives Nancy's age as 28, which would also line up with the FaG reference. [5]
