Biography

Lewis F. Farr was born in 1833. He was the son of Samuel Farr and Elizabeth (Crawford) Farr.

• 1870, age 37, Married, living with his wife, Nancy, his mother Elizabeth, Sister Catherine at West Sparta, New York ^[4]
• 1875, Age 42, Married to Nancy Farr, living with 2 children and his in-laws (Frank and Mary Fulton) at West Sparta, New York ^[5]

Research Notes

A. Lewis probably married Nancy Fulton prior to 1869, when his first child was born. There appears to be a spouse listed on the 1870 census and the handwriting of the enumerator is such that her name is Nancy or Mary. ^[4] This persons age is given as 23 years, would would match up with the age given on Find A Grave. The Census of 1875 gives Nancy's age as 28, which would also line up with the FaG reference. ^[5]
