Biography
John married Nancy Rudicel on Aug. 10, 1854. [1]
John served in the Civil War. He was a Sergeant in Co. H, 70th Indiana Infantry.

He died in 1876 in a buggy accident. He is buried in Williams cemetery. [3]
Obituary
Sudden Death -- This Thursday evening, John F. Farr and William Williams started home, four miles north of town, in a buggy...[the riders were thrown out], Farr rolling on top of Williams. Farr was taken to the home of his brother, J.C. Farr, in town, where he died about midnight. He was about 43 years of age. [4]
