William was born 5 December 1869 at Tamnylennan, near Stewartstown, County Tyrone. He was the son of Margaret Farr (unmarried); informant Jane Farr. [1]

His mother seems to have another child William in 1889, so perhaps this person died before that; although no civil death record found so other possibilities should be considered.
