Biography

Ernest was a train driver. His youngest son described him as kind hearted and said his family was important to him. He tried to keep a connection between his children despite the difficult situation where Terence was not living with him but living with his grandparents. The older children lived with Ernie.

Ernest lost one of his fingers when he was a child as one of his brothers who was known as Towser, chopped off one of his fingers accidently in a game of chicken.
