WEDDING REPORT. HAWTER—FARRAR. Charming frocking was a feature of the wedding at Perth College Chapel last Saturday of Miss Shirley Farrar, second daughter of Mr. W. H. Farrar of West Perth, and Mr. Fred Hawter, of Mullalyup. The bride, given away by her father, wore a dainty short-trained frock of Hungarian embroidered georgette with button trimmed uplift bodice, Peter Pan collar, short sleeves and gored skirt. Her short circular veil was of plain tulle, held with a topknot of orange blossom, and she carried a fragrant sheath of tuber roses. The bridesmaids, Misses Pauline Farrar, Leile Cowderoy and Elizabeth Thomson, were frocked alike in green georgette, redingot style, with velvet sashes and sun-ray pleated skirt. Short green veils, worn at the back, were held by a single waterlily and they carried pastel-toned waterlilies in their bouquets. Messrs. Arthur Brazier, Clive Hawter and Jim Keall attended the groom. A cocktail party reception at the Savoy Hotel followed, Mrs. Farrar receiving and wearing black georgette relieved with a spray of red roses to match the posy she carried. Mrs. Hawter assisted, wearing black touched with white, with red rose posy.
