George Farrar was born 9 May 1650, probably in Ipswich, Essex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay. He was the son of George Farrar and Anne Whitmore. [1]
A careful reading of the George Farrar Sr entry in the article "Early Settlers of Essex and Old Norfolk " (see source above) makes it clear that the death date and reason - killed by Indians at Wells, Maine - relates to Sr, and not George Jr. The date and place of death remains unknown.
