N1690According to the Civil War Pension Record for Ashley County. His wife claimed a pension for him in 1902. It says he was in the Ashley Regiment, Company B, of the Confederate Army, but it doesn't tell his time of service, or exactly what Regiment number he was in. I've been unable to find this information so far (Jan/2013).
