Biography

John was the son of Matthew Farrell and Ann Flynn.

He was born in Muscatine County, Iowa in 1858. [1] [2] [3] [4] The family emigrated to Platte County, Nebraska in 1873. [5] [6] [7] [2]

In 1886, John married Mary Elizabeth (Fenton) Farrell (1861-1939)[8]

They emigrated to Beadle County, South Dakota in 1906, [5] [9] and finally to Cavour, in Beadle County, by 1915. [10] [11] [12] [13] [14] [15]

John died there in 1944,[16] [5] and is buried there in St. Patrick's Cemetery. [1]
