Thomas was born to Edward and Dorothy Bowne Farrington in Flushing or Gravesend, New Netherland colony

FARRINGTON, THOMAS, of Gravesend, let Oct. 26, 1669, to Wm Goulder of the same place 3 cows, etc. Sept. 8, 1669, he sold John Emans plantation-lot No. 28 of said town, all as per town rec. Made his mark to documents. [1]

Will, Abstract of

22 May 1699 Thomas Farrington of Flushing, NY, names wife Abigail, daughters Elizabeth, Bridget and Abigail. Son Thomas to have 60 acres with the house and orchard. To Son Benjamin 40 pounds when of age. Son Robert 48 acres at the side of the highway and he is to pay Benjamin 40 pounds. Exe. Wife Abigail and brother in law Francis Doughty. Wits. Henry Taylor, Thomas Hedger and John Tallman. Probate 21 Sep 1699. Abstracts of Early Wills of Queens County, New York, Recorded in Libers A and C of Deeds...[2]
