I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process that you might find helpful. Also, about 'Importing a GEDCOM' Because WikiTree has only one profile for each person, the further back you go in your ancestry, the more likely cousins will find you and help out.

Be sure to include the sources used, on each profile you add.

It is a good idea to enter a few of your ancestors manually, your parents and then your grandparents, just to get used to how WikiTree works. Then, to start, you could upload just one small portion of your tree with a gedcom to see how that works. There is often editing needed after a Gedcom import, so fewer profiles makes the task easier.

p.s. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details
