Orlen Farwell was born about 1810 in Compton, Quebec, Canada as the fifth of ten known children to Gladden Farwell (1772-1865) and Mehitable Fuller (1781-1847).

  3. Thomas Farwell was born about 1807 in Compton, Quebec, Canada. He married Abigail Lucretia Fox (1845-1882) in 1872 at the Universalist Church, Ascot, Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. Thomas died in 1882.

  7. Amelia Maria Farwell was born on 15 September 1821 in Eaton Corner, Compton, Quebec, Canada. She married Rev. Caleb Perrin Mallory (1810-1882) in June 1843 at Glover, Orleans, Vermont, United States as his first wife. Amelia died on 19 July 1846 in Huntingville, Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. Rev. Mallory took as his second wife, her sister, Elizabeth Betsy.
  8. Elizabeth Betsy Farwell was born on 15 June 1923 in Eaton Corner, Compton, Quebec, Canada. She married as his second wife Rev. Caleb Perrin Mallory (1810-1882) on 29 September 1847 in Stanstead, Stanstead, Quebec, Canada. Betsy died on 5 May 1893 in Huntingville, Quebec, Canada.
  9. Benjamin Walker Farwell was born on 23 June 1825 in Compton, Quebec, Canada. He married Susan Maria Caswell (1826-1914) on 16 February 1848 in Ascot, Quebec, Canada. Benjamin died on 30 November 1906 in Sand Hill, Le Haut-Saint-François, Quebec, Canada.

  3. Quartus B. Farwell was born on September 1845 in Canada. He married Anna M. Morrey (1852-1917) on 31 July 1867 in Maine Prairie, Sterns, Minnesota, United States. Orlen Farwell, father, Justice of the Peace, officiated. Quartus died on 6 December 1921 in Glendale, Los Angeles, California, United States.

Public Offices

On 31 July 1867 he was a Justice of the Peace in Minnesota and officiated at the wedding of his son, Quartus, in Maine Prairie, Sterns, Minnesota.

The United States Government appointed him Postmaster at Marysville, Sterns, Minnesota on 5 August 1858.

Death
