Biography

Sallie Wilburn was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Pacolet Township (east, north part) Cowpens town, Spartanburg County, South Carolina for the June 7, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born April 1867 in South Carolina and had been married fourteen years. She was the mother of six children of which five were still living as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head William Wilburn, son Martain Wilburn, daughter Bell Wilburn, daughter Sallie Wilburn, daughter Ossie Wilburn and sister [sister-in-law] Berthey Mc Crite.^[1]

Sally Wilburn was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Buffalo Road, Union, Union County, South Carolina for the May 9, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1867 in South Carolina and had been married twenty-three years. She was the mother of twelve children of which eight were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Will Wilburn, son Martin Wilburn, daughter Sally Wilburn, daughter Occie Wilburn, daughter Estelle Wilburn, daughter Pearl Wilburn, son Norman Wilburn, mother-in-law Victoria Mccrigh and sister-in-law Bertha Mccright.^[2]
