Services for Bert H. Faulkner, who passed away in the hospital July 17, were held at the Phillips Funeral Home Monday afternoon, July 19 at two o'clock with the Rev. Bruce B. Groseclose of the Goldendale Methodist Church in charge. A mixed choir from the church sang favorite hymns and pallbearers were Ray Gubser, Ernest Roe, Ray Ferguson, Shelvie Gray, Chester Hill, and Emmett Mason.

Interment was in the IOOF Cemetery. Mr. Faulkner was a long-time resident of Klickitat County, engaging in ranching and stock raising during his active years. He leaves the wife of Goldendale; a daughter, Mrs. Verona Shattuck of Boardman, Oregon; two sons, Ronald of Kelso and Sgt. Delbert Faulkner of the El Toro, California, Marine base; five grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Ellen Lillie of Soap Lake.
