West, esq. P. R. A., by command of His Majesty. London: Printed by D. Jaques, for T. Egerton [etc.].
  • Faulkner, T. (1839). The history and antiquities of the parish of Hammersmith: interspersed with biographical notices of illustrious and eminent persons, who have been born, or who have resided in the parish, during the three preceding centuries. London: Nichols & Son [etc.].

In 1841, Thomas was employed as a bookbinder. He was 64-years-old residing at 1 Paradise Row, Chelsea, Middlesex. Also in the household were his three children: Thomas, Frances and Elizabeth. [3]

In 1851, Thomas was a 73-year-old widower residing at 27 Smith Street, Chelsea, Middlesex. He was an historian. Three of his children were still in the home. His son, Thomas was a book seller. His daughters Frances and Elizabeth were teachers. There were eleven students in his home, all under the age of 13. Also in the household was a servant. [4]
