Edna Faulkner was born before 1902. She was the daughter of Alfred Faulkner and Ann Garnett.
Edna married widower Fergus McMaster, a pastoralist and an inaugural director of Qantas, on 21st June 1922 in Brisbane, Queensland; [1] thereby becoming step-mother to his ten-year old daughter. Together, the couple had:
Having been one of the inaugural directors of Qantas in 1920, Fergus remained integrally involved in the airline, being appointed chairman before 1937. When he was knighted in January 1941 Edna became entitled as Lady McMaster.
Having been widowed for ten years, she passed away on 11th May 1960 in Brisbane, Queensland. [2]
