Obituary:Concord, Calif — Phoebe Ann (Faust) Langley, 72, died Wednesday, Sept 4, 2002 at Mt Diablo Hospital.

She was born and raised in Urbana. For the last 25 years of her life, she lived in northern California near her daughters. She was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship Church. She loved working with children and was employed for more than 15 years with Valley Verdi Children's Center, Walnut Creek, Calif. She retired in November 2001.

Surviving are four children, Mrs Steven (Laura) Chellew, Martinez, Calif, Mrs Michael (Cathy) Wimmer, Pacheco, Calif, D Douglas (Jan) Smith, Mt Laurel, NJ, and Terry L (Linda) Smith, Beverly, NJ; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two nieces in Wabash County, Mrs Marvin (Marilyn) Miller, Urbana, and Mrs Thomas (Gaye Lynn) Hudson, North Manchester.

Her parents, Elroy C and Miriam B Faust, and brothers, Elroy Charles Faust Jr and Max S Faust, are deceased.

Memorial services will be conducted at noon, Sept 28, at Hope Center Covenant Church, 2275 Morello Ave, Pleasant Hill, Calif.
