Ednah was born in or near Ludworth, on 28th April, 1822, and was baptised at the Marple Bridge Independent Chapel nearby. She is the daughter of Robert Fearnley and Mary Platt.[1].
In 1841 she is still with parents at Lane Ends, near Ludworth[2].
