Biography

Maria Barbara Faeg/Feg was born about 1700. She was a daughter of Johannes Faeg and Anna Margaretha (Becker) Faeg.

  1. Anna Catharine b 2 Jun 1718. Sponsors were Johann Nickolaus Feg, Anna Catharine Rith, and Margretha Cass. She first married married Johann George Anspach, she second married Hans Jacob Katterman (1721-1802)
  2. Margretha Elisabetha b 20 Mar 1721. Sponsors were Leonard Rith, his wife, and Anna Margretha Feg. [note that Anna Margretha Feg is her family name, as she married Herman Walborn only in 1728]. She married John Jacob Emerick (~1713-1803)
  3. Anna Margretha b 8 Oct 1723. Sponsors were Jacob Feg, Anna Margretha Schäffer, and Margretha Feg.
  4. Anna Magdalena b 25 Sept 1725. Sponsors were Conrad Weyser (Weiser), his wife, and Anna Magdalena Zeh.
  5. Johann Caspar b 2 Feb 1729. Sponsors were Caspar Rith and his wife
  6. Elizabeth b 13 April 1730. Sponsors were Michel Emrich and his wife. She married Johann Michael Theiss (1727-1804)
  7. Maria Barbara b 13 Mar 1732. Sponsors were Johann Görg Rith Jr and Maria Barbara Feg. m Nicolaus Schwengel[2]
  8. Johann Michael b 18 Dec 1733. Sponsor was Michel Ernst Krafthörner
  9. Daniel b 25 Feb 1735. Sponsors were Hermanus Walborn and his wife
  10. Christina b 11 Jun 1737. Sponsors were Görg Lösch and his wife. She married Heinrich Koppenheffer/Copenhaver (1729-1807)

Research Notes

German Baptism source needs more research using parents

A secondary source says that Barbara was the daughter of Peter Faeg--not Johannes Faeg[3], but the birth records at the church are probably the more reliable source.
