Biography

William was the second son of at least 4 children born to Robert E. and Susannah Felts. He was born in Tennessee in 1850 and the family was living in Tennessee in the 1860 US Census. The family moved to Arkansas sometime before the 1870 Census was taken.

He married Minerva Cooper, sometime in the late 1870's and they had at least 5 children. According to the 1880 US Census data, William was a farmer living in Independence Arkansas at the time of the census taking.

William died in Arkansas in 1903. He is buried at the Hickory Valley Cemetery, Independence County, Arkansas, USA.
