Biography

The son of George Washington Fenton (1845-1918) and Florence Annette Bailey (1850-1891), Horace was born in Hudson Township in 1876. He married Virginia Rose Waldorf (1873-1958), the daughter of Joseph Marcellus Waldorf and Emma Lucelia Newell, in Reading, Michigan on June 29, 1898.^[1][2] Their children included:

1. George Marcellus (1900-1983)
2. Horace Seth (1902-1936)
3. Lucelia Florence (1905-1920)
4. Lawrence McGee (1908-1981)
5. Seth Errol (1911-1916)
6. Arthur Wendell (1917-1960)

They made their home in Milwaukee where Horace worked his entire career as a proof reader in the newspaper busiess.^{[3][4][5][6][7]} He passed away in Milwaukee at the age of 69 and is buried at Union Cemetery.^[8]
