Biography
The son of George Washington Fenton (1845-1918) and Florence Annette Bailey (1850-1891), Horace was born in Hudson Township in 1876. He married Virginia Rose Waldorf (1873-1958), the daughter of Joseph Marcellus Waldorf and Emma Lucelia Newell, in Reading, Michigan on June 29, 1898.[1][2] Their children included:
George Marcellus (1900-1983)
Horace Seth (1902-1936)
Lucelia Florence (1905-1920)
Lawrence McGee (1908-1981)
Seth Errol (1911-1916)
Arthur Wendell (1917-1960)
They made their home in Milwaukee where Horace worked his entire career as a proof reader in the newspaper busiess.[3][4][5][6][7] He passed away in Milwaukee at the age of 69 and is buried at Union Cemetery.[8]
