He emigrated to New Brunswick in 1819.
Alexander married Christina McLeod,
In 1851, he was a farmer proprietor living in Chatham, New Brunswick with a young family.
Alexander passed away on March 6, 1869 and was interred at Saint Andrew's Cemetery in Chatham.[1]
Date of birth is uncertain - 1801 is from Census records, but Memorial indicates he was 71 when he died in 1869.
There is an 1834 marriage record for Alex'r Fenton to a Margaret Newland. No other records were located relating to Margaret. However, in the 1851 Census there is a 16-year-old daughter who is 8 years older than any other children in the family, which is suggestive of her being from a previous marriage.
