DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with David by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with David:

Hi Mary,

I was keeping a list about my contributions to US Southern Colonies profiles for this purpose but now, when I need it, I cannot find the list. Bummer.

So in haste, I will mention just two :

Andreas Karcher (abt.1755-abt.1813) - family was badly conflated. Fixed all that and am now co-profile manager of this profile. There are more merges still to come for this profile. Andrew or Andreas has a long list of descendants!

William Walker (1757-1839) - I put a huge effort into improving this profile in January until someone on your project team took it over as a project protected profile - I was NOT pleased about that - quite demotivating.

Regards, Dave
