Biography

Ireland Native
Jane (Ferguson) Bradford was born in Ireland.

Jane was born about 1859. She was the daughter of George Ferguson and lived at Ballybriest in 1877. [1] (NOTE: currently linked parents are tentative)

On 27 November 1877 at Lissan Church of Ireland, she married James Bradford of Ballynagilly, son of Henry Bradford. Witnessed by William Ferguson and Alexander Mitchell. [1]

They emigrated to New York around 1881.

As of 1910, two of the sons of Robert Ferguson (abt.1843-1939) are boarding with James and Jane.

She passed away 18 April 1950 at Norwich CT. [2]

Research Notes

There was only one George Ferguson of Ballybriest -- George Ferguson (abt.1806-1900). Well, that George and his son. However the son seems too young to be Jane's father; and the older George's wife seems too old to be Jane's mother. Further clues would be needed here; it could be possible she is an in-family adoption for example.
