DNA

DNA for this Ferguson line has haplogroup R1b which differs from the Scots modal at markers DYS458=17, DYS464c=16, DYS456=15 and DYS442=13. DNA has provided a clue that their Scottish ancestors might be from Athole, Perthshire, Scotland since a Moulin, FERGUSSON family is part of this same halpogroup.

Branch points appear relative to the Stubbleson modal which is identical to that of Aeron FERGUSON. The markers and modal values involved are DYS385b=13, DYS459b=10, GATAH4=12, DYS570=18, CDYb=38 and DYS438=11.

Ferguson-2651 and Ferguson-268 appear to represent the same person because: There isn't a lot of information on this profile but the information is close especially since his children are known children of John Ferguson and Anne Stubbleson, like Sarah Ferguson Redd, who is mentioned in Anne's will.

Ferguson-804 and Ferguson-268 appear to represent the same person because: It looks like the only thing that doesn't reflect current known research is the parents which can be marked as questionable. Everything else matches what is know. They are already tied to the same wife.
