Ada Jane Ferguson was born on March 30, 1888, in King City, Ontario, Canada, her father, George, was 32, and her mother, Annie, was 23. She married Thomas Henry Lawson on December 21, 1910, in Aurora, Ontario, Canada. They had three children during their marriage. She died on May 25, 1925, in her hometown at the age of 37, and was buried there.
