Biography

Moses was born in 1820. He was the son of Daniel Ferguson and Mary L. Root. He passed away in 1903. Moses was a farmer and one of the first settlers in Beaver Creek, Minnesota. He was married twice and raised a family of nine children. Moses was a member of the Woodsmen Society near the end of his long life. This explains the unique design of his headstone located in Beaver Valley Cemetery in Beaver Creek.
