Biography

John and his brothers, Shelby & Homer, established their own furniture store in Flint, Genesee Co MI, known as "Ferguson Brothers furniture."

In his younger days, some people called him "Arky" because he was from Arkansas. His brother in law, Charles P Bunnell, was called "Sparky" as the two of them did things together sometimes.

John is of the Lutheran faith. He also served in the US Air Force during World War II.
